The Third Wave

Painting showing overhead view of a classroom of students sitting at their desks. Student in the middle is surrounded by a barrier. Their space inside the box is brightly colored. All other students are bland neutral colors.

The Third Wave brings together academic and community scholars to explore what is (and is not) working for disabled students from preschool through transition programs. Drawing on decades of experience as disabled students and education professionals, these authors provide rare insight into the unique challenges facing disabled students and their families to get a legally mandated fair and appropriate education.
