The Library of Congress assigns every submitted book a unique Library of Congress (LoC) number. This number is placed on the copyright page of a book. AFTER the book is printed, we need to send LoC a copy of the print book.

BOWKER – iSBNs
All books published anywhere in the world in any format have an ISBN (tracking number). In the US the company managing / selling them is Bowker.
Each new book – and – for each new format of a book needs a unique ISBN
YOU will go to Bowker and assign an ISBN for each format of each book we publish.

Account > My Identifiers > Manage ISBNs
EVERY version of the book needs a UNIQUE ISBN – so each of our books needs a unique ISBN for the print version and a different ISBN for the ebook version.

IF we are publishing a print book on Amazon AND Ingram, then we MUST do the Amazon forms and uploads first.

We publish PRINT books with Ingram. They sell to bookstores and colleges need to buy books from Ingram.
